In 1935 Andre Giraud partnered with Brousseau and purchased a porcelain factory in Sauviat-sur-Vige which is near Limoges, France. Their wares were branded under the name Giraud & Brousseau.
The flame mark with means the piece was fired in wood burning kilns. This technology for producing high quality porcelain was developed by Andre Dupuy in 1884. The company has produced tableware and ornamental items since 1836.
This pattern was made and retailed for Tiffany and Co.
